I always wondered, is Oondasta effectively a Loa, or are his abilities endowed to him by the Zandalari, or are they a purely gameplay thing and he’s “just” a really big devilsaur in official game lore?

Oondasta appears to have been created by the Zandalari, specifically as a massive weapon. Probably Loa-infused.
