And remember, these Ethereum guys, they’re way out of date on their gemstones! Cardinal Rubies, Amberjewels, Lapis Lazulis, Queen’s Garnets, Primal Diamonds…we’re talking like, three whole expansions’ worth of exciting new jewels to covet! What self-respecting ethereal could resist such an offer? 😉

There are the Ethereals that provides the upgrade/transmog/reforging services… Which, while a bit meta, still can be counted as some of the ethereals having access to “modern”/new gems and materials.
Since they are friendly though, they are presumably affiliated with the Consortium.
For the Ethereum, these jewels should be a very welcome resource indeed.
Also, clever to go with the jewels. It’s like with the Steamwheedle Cartel, always try trading before resorting to force.
I see complications in the future though. Something tells me those spheres won’t work quite as intended on the Sha.
And I can also see a lot of shady people wanting to get their hands on an imprisoned Sha, for research purposes.
